To complete the major maintenance work on the Roertunnel and Tunnel Swalmen (A73), the tunnels will be closed for a total of two more weekends at the end of January and February 2025. The first part of the work took place in 2023 and renovation work continued in 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"section section--rich-text\">\n<div class=\"section__body\">\n<div class=\"rich-text rich-text--full\">\n<p>To minimise traffic disruption, the two weekend closures will be combined with the monthly scheduled closures for regular maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>Regional and local diversion routes are in place during the works. Traffic will be diverted via the <a title=\"Page Highway A67\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rijkswaterstaat.nl\/wegen\/wegenoverzicht\/a67\">A67<\/a>, <a title=\"Page Motorway A2\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rijkswaterstaat.nl\/wegen\/wegenoverzicht\/a2\">A2<\/a> and the N273, follow the yellow signs on the road. Choose alternative transport where possible or try to avoid rush hours.
