The INTERREG-Project „euregio campus – Limburg/Niederrhein“ organizes the third „Innovation
Forum“ on the topic „Promoting Sustainable Logistics“. It will take place online on 14th October
2021 from 4:00-5:30 pm.

This event aims to highlight and discuss sustainable strategies in the logistics industry. It is
addressed to companies, economic development agencies, municipalities, students and
researchers.

First, Raphael Heereman, deputy head of the research institute GEMIT (Hochschule Niederrhein),
will give a keynote speech on the topic „Making sustainability work: how to boost the creation
of sustainaibility strategies in logistics SMEs“.

Second, Danny Jonker, consultant at Fontys International Logistics Expertise Center
(ILEC), will report on the topic „Future skills of logistics professionals: how to react to
innovation“.
