GaragePark announces first two parks in Limburg

VENLO/VENRAY - GaragePark has announced the arrival of its first two parks in Limburg. The market leader is realising both a new park with as many as 116 garage boxes at business park Ubroek on the Sondert in Venlo, as a 52-box park on De Hulst in Venray. Its sale has now started. With this, GaragePark meets the growing demand for flexible storage and business spaces in the area. Construction work is expected to start in the fourth quarter of this year, allowing entrepreneurs to move into their boxes before the end of 2022.

The new parks offer secure storage and business space to (starting) self-employed people and entrepreneurs from Venlo, Venray and the surrounding area. The location at Ubroek business park is close to the centre of Venlo and also a stone's throw from the A73 motorway towards Nijmegen and Roermond. The park on De Voorde in Venray is in turn close to the slip roads of the same A73 and the N270. "We are very proud to have found such great locations for our first parks in the province of Limburg," says Rick Venema, director and founder of GaragePark. "Venlo and Venray are among the logistics hotspots of the Netherlands and are also large municipalities. This creates a huge amount of business activity in the area, which means numerous entrepreneurs need safe storage and work spaces. Due to their convenient location, the parks are not only easily accessible for entrepreneurs from the immediate area, but also for those who need to get from Eindhoven or Duisburg via the A67, for example."

Facilities
After the construction of the Limburg parks, there are 37 GarageParken spread throughout the Netherlands. At the first Venlo park, the market leader is making 116 garage boxes available, spread over the ground and first floors. These are available in four different sizes, ranging from 18 to 24 square metres. In Venray, GaragePark is realising 52 boxes of 21 square metres on the ground floor. Venema: "Although we are not the only party offering storage and work spaces in North Limburg, we stand out because of our facilities. For instance, we offer a fully fenced and secured location with BORG-2 security measures. Moreover, the boxes are accessible 24/7 and individually secured. The latter is especially important for entrepreneurs who use their garage box as storage space for valuable tools or materials. A private mailbox and sanitary facilities at the park are also unique for the region. Tenants who use their garage box as work space especially benefit greatly from this."

Logistics hotspot
Recently, Venlo-Venray landed back in the top-three logistics hotspots after a year of absence. Venema: "Both the infrastructure and the accessibility of logistics hubs make the Venlo-Venray area an ideal business area. For instance, the region was named logistics hotspot of Europe several times and you will find the second largest horticultural area in the Netherlands. Also in the manufacturing industry, several companies in the area represent an important role on the world stage. I hope that the construction of the new park proceeds smoothly, so that we can do our bit for similar entrepreneurial successes."
