13 December: Supply chain challenges 2.0

23 November 2023

'Dealing with shortages and fluctuations in demand and price.'

We invite you to the Supply Chain Challenges 2.0 on Wednesday 13 December next. Proudly organised by BISCI (Brightlands Institute for Supply Chain Innovation) in collaboration with Fontys Center of Expertise (CoE) Supply Chains For Society. Join us at the Fontys Venlo auditorium for this exciting afternoon. We promise you many insightful discussions and the extensive opportunity for networking.

Following the successful Supply Chain Challenges Event in 2023, together with international master students of Supply Chain Management and researchers from Fontys and BISCI, we took on challenges from six companies in our network and managed to solve them.

Now we would like to invite you to Supply Chain Challenges 2.0 with the theme:
'Dealing with shortages and fluctuations in demand and price.'

Wednesday, 13 December
15:00 - 18:00
Fontys Venlo auditorium, Tegelseweg 255, 5912BG, Venlo

Why shouldn't you miss this?
Almost all organisations experience challenges in these turbulent times and will face even more challenges in the future. Supply Chain Challenges 2.0 equips you with the right knowledge to be better prepared for the future.
For almost all companies, it is difficult to manage performance due to, for example, resource scarcity, material shortages, sales and operational planning and labour shortages. Companies struggle to find the right system to optimise their logistics planning. This event will equip you with the right insights, knowledge and competences to tackle these challenges in your future career.

The aim, of course, is to develop the right knowledge and for companies to increase the level of resilience and agility to anticipate these 'unexpected' developments and demands. We have a great programme with experts from education and practice. You will go home with practical tips and tools for existing and future challenges. Take the opportunity to meet companies and experienced researchers and professors and exchange knowledge.

  • Discover practical steps to measure and improve the resilience of supply chains.
  • Data tooling for tactical planning using PowerBI and AI.
  • Get inspired by a real-life case study from Herbalife.

The event will be held in English to welcome an international audience.
