By this, he meant to say that you may be able to act faster if you work alone, but in the long run you achieve more by working together with others. Through the Business Investment Zone (BIZ), entrepreneurs in Venlo's 20 business parks contribute to a stronger business climate. Resulting in more cooperation and a closer connection between business parks, city centre and residents.
From the Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo, we encourage cooperation between entrepreneurs and researchers. We see daily how important those connections are. The campus is a breeding ground for innovation where entrepreneurs and researchers work together on solutions for major challenges such as healthy food, sustainability and circularity. What is created on campus also flows back to the region. This makes the campus not only a place for innovation, but also a crossroads where knowledge and entrepreneurship come together.
In the end, it is all about cooperation. The companies in the city centre, on the business parks and on the campus all need each other, as well as cooperation with education. At Brightlands, we find that working together accelerates innovation: startups collaborating with local companies, events where residents are introduced to new technology, campus residents starting new projects together with research institutions.
