From 1 December 2023, it will be possible to register your company for free collection of PD (Plastic and Beverage Cartons) and bottle glass thanks to Afvalfonds and Nedvang.
From Afvalfonds and Nedvang, a process has been started whereby business PD and bottle glass can be collected free of charge. Nedvang Foundation has been coordinating the collection of private PD for years and will now also coordinate this for business. The Waste Fund and Nedvang are doing this on behalf of the producers and importers who put the packaged products on the market. By funding this separate collection, they want to get more PD and bottle glass out of regular waste to encourage re-use.
In addition to free collection of PD and/or bottle glass, this naturally also reduces your residual waste. Depending on the actual amount of PD and/or bottle glass present in your residual waste, you can later look into reducing the emptying frequency of your residual waste container. This may lead to a decrease in your monthly costs.
