Keijbeck Opleidingen expands with KnD Opleidingen in Venlo

17 January 2020

VENLO - Keijbeck Opleidingen and Bart Derkx will jointly launch a new training centre in Venlo under the name KnD Opleidingen. The growing demand for total solutions in the transport and logistics sector gave the two parties the idea to start working together. Both have experience in educating and training staff in various specialist sectors.

The teaching location in Venlo has ten theory classrooms and a 1,000-square-metre practice hall. Lessons are held six days a week. The aim is to offer customers a total solution with a single point of contact. The education, course or training can be done physically in Venlo, but also in-house or elsewhere in the country.

Knowing what's going on
"Customer demand is key," state directors Colin, Jessie and Roger Keijbeck. "We always look at how a customer's business is developing at the time and what this means for employees with regard to training and education. After all, a training course only delivers results if it actually solves the problem." Bart Derkx: "I attach great value to a good and long-term customer relationship, because then, as a trainer, you know exactly what is going on within a company and together you can see how the company can best anticipate developments within its own internal staffing and within the labour market."

Ambition
A clear ambition has been set for the coming years: "We want to continue to grow and become the training provider for executive employees in various specialised sectors of the southern Netherlands." The experienced instructors and teachers make it possible to offer training in high quality and at various learning speeds.
For the coming years, KnD Opleidingen's ambition is to be seen as a professional "one stop shopping" provider of education and training. A fluctuating supply and demand and changing (subsidy) rules mean that more and more trainers are struggling. "Only by being flexible and continuing to develop your business will you make it in this market," he says.

Tailor-made training courses
KnD Training provides a package of about 200 courses, training and education for both individuals and groups of people. The training courses are divided into the categories: (professional) driving licences, Occupational Health & Safety, driver training, logistics, refresher training for professional drivers (code 95) and communication. These are either open-enrolment courses or tailor-made in-company courses.
