Entrepreneurial Venlo congratulates Lizbeth van den Boogaart, director of Fresh Park Venlo on winning the title Top Woman Limburg 2019. We are proud of our fellow board member and chairman of Stichting Parkmanagement Venlo.
An independent jury considered qualities such as vision, innovation, perseverance and leadership skills when choosing the winner. Some financial criteria also had to be met. The winner is seen as an inspiring example for others. About the winning top woman, the jury said:
"As director at Fresh Park Venlo, you, Lizbeth van den Boogaart, are operationally, technically and commercially responsible for the management and development of the Fresh Park Venlo business park. The jury was able to witness on site how you provide over 100 companies, small and large, active in fresh & food business, with suitable accommodation. Lizbeth, you have a clear vision and know what you have to do in the coming years. The jury is impressed by you and what you have achieved as a top woman. The jury sees you as an inspiring example for women who, like you, operate in a man's world."
The three top women Lizbeth van den Boogaart - managing director of Fresh Park Venlo, Petra Dassen-Housen - mayor of the municipality of Beesel, Astrid Roebroeck-Pinckaers - owner Ricoh Document Center Zuid, were introduced to the audience through film and live interviews by Kirsten Paulus and Sander Kleikers in constantly alternating settings. The three finalists also each gave a 2-minute pitch. Over 350 guests from all over the province attended the ceremony and were able to vote for their favourite top woman.
