Lidia van der Klei and Michèle de Vries together, as Social Impact Spits at Onbeperkt aan de Slag, look after the labour market region in North Brabant and Limburg. Like all their colleagues, they have an extra challenge, i.e. a work disability. In this way, they want to show everyone that it is possible: sustainable employment with a disability.
Their goal is to bring about a normalised inclusive labour market, because they want to achieve a society to which everyone can contribute fully according to their ability. They do this by working to help anyone who needs a little extra needs.
At Unlimited to Work, meeting people is the key word. On the one hand, this happens digitally: some 8,000 jobseekers with disabilities have now registered on the website, www.onbeperktaandeslag.nl. This makes it at once the largest platform in the Netherlands. On the other hand, they organise Meet & Greets throughout the country throughout the year.
Indeed, too many people with disabilities are still on the sidelines in this region too, when they can make a very valuable contribution in the workplace, business growth, prosperity and economic growth in the region.
That is why Lidia and Michèle are organising a Meet&Greet on Tuesday 10 September 2019 in Venlo from 2.30pm to 5pm.
Employers can get a free table to interact with jobseekers with disabilities. If interested, employers can email to: ontmoetingen@onbeperktaandeslag.nl or call at: 088 00 84 202
Jobseekers with a disability can apply via: https://nederland.onbeperktaandeslag.nl/evenement/meetgreet-10-september-venlo
