From testing at Summer Park Festival to making more impact in the 'real world'

Zomerparkfeest and its partners are giving three innovative Limburg entrepreneurs the chance to test their novelty (product or service) during Zomerparkfeest and gather feedback from real users. This will give these entrepreneurs the chance to test their innovation, from 9 to 11 August, for improvements in order to make even more impact in the 'real world' with their innovation.
Festival as TestLab
Innovation is essential for the economic growth, social cohesion and sustainability of our region. Companies are therefore constantly developing new products and services that offer solutions to the problems we face every day. But how do you know if your solution really works? For that, you have to go out and test your idea. That is not always easy and often costs a lot of time and money. That's why Zomerparkfeest and its partners are offering a unique opportunity: Zomerparkfeest TestLab. From 9 to 11 August, three Limburg entrepreneurs will have the opportunity here to test their innovation in three days with a potential audience of as many as 100,000 visitors.
Will you be one of the three participants to test your innovation?
For Zomerparkfeest TestLab, the search has started for Limburg entrepreneurs with an innovative idea for a new product or service. The important thing is that the solution contributes to a sustainable and social society. The successful first TestLab took place in 2023 and gave The Water Company, MESSCHERP and Exoy™ ONE the chance to test their innovation.
Successful readiness
The programme consists of a pitch event where all participants present their innovation. An expert jury determines the top three innovations, which then secure a spot on the Zomerpark festival grounds. They then follow an inspiring track in which the test cases take shape step by step. They will be supported by innovation experts nominated by the partners. Zomerparkfeest starts on Thursday 8 August 2024, with Zomerparkfeest TestLab opening one day later, Friday 9 August.
Zomerparkfeest TestLab is an initiative of Rabobank, Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo, LIOF, Ondernemend Venlo, Fontys, Bluehub, Circular Design Group and, of course, Zomerparkfeest.
