Wednesday morning, September 4, was the General Assembly of Entrepreneurial Venlo.
After a tasty breakfast, chairman Lizbeth van den Boogaart opened the meeting. Members were then briefed on the various changes in the organisation.
Departing chairman of Park Management Bas Holla gave an overview of the realised projects and activities of park management. He also gave a preview of new projects.
Treasurer Henk van der Heijden showed the figures and explained that a complicated situation has arisen due to the various subsidy processes in the various foundations and collaborations with municipality and province. This is a big job to sort out. The cash audit committee Marcel van Lierop and Hay Wilders asked for applause from the audience to thank the treasurer.
Not enough (2/3) members were present to amend the bylaws in accordance with the WBTR. A separate meeting will be called for that purpose.
Chairman Lizbeth recounted the brainstorming session and gave a glimpse into the future. Besides facilitating, representing interests and connecting, there will be an even greater focus on cooperation.
Collaboration will be made on the municipality's Economic Vision Development Agenda.
And very important next time will be the preparation for the new BIZ.
