VENLO/MAASTRICHT - Venlo lawyer Hayat Barrahmun of Boels Zanders Lawyers, Maria Jacobs, CEO of the Maastricht radiotherapy institute Maastro and Esther Paulus-Maalsté, store manager of De Bijenkorf Maastricht are the nominees for the election Top Woman Limburg 2020. They are chosen by an independent jury from a large number of candidates. On Thursday, 28 May Governor Theo Bovens will announce who is this year's winner. This will happen during a evening programme at Theaterhotel De Oranjerie in Roermond.
The jury awards the title Top Woman Limburg 2020 to a top woman whose qualities include leadership skills, vision, perseverance and business and social commitment. She must also be an inspiring example for other top women and meet a number of financial criteria.
Ninth edition
The election Top Woman Limburg is being organised for the ninth time this year. The election pays tribute to top women in Limburg who make a valuable and striking contribution to business, community, government or science. The Topvrouw Limburg election puts inspiring top women in the spotlight.
Jury
The jury of Topvrouw Limburg consists of chairman Pim Steerneman, CEO Sevagram; Jan Berden, CEO Berden Mode & Wonen; Angelique Palmen, CEO Mijnwater BV; Yvonne Paulussen, Director of Change of Vekoma Rides and last year's winner, Lizbeth van den Boogaart, Director Fresh Park Venlo. At the end of this month, the jury will make company visits to the finalists.
