On 14 May 2024, KIWA's auditor awarded all 20 business parks of Ondernemend Venlo with the KVO (Keurmerk Veilig Ondernemen) certificate once again. We are proud that for 15 years now, the good cooperation between entrepreneurs, fire brigade, police, Venlo municipality, Safe Venlo and park management have managed to award this certificate.
After a 1.5-hour tour of the business parks, led by the auditor and park manager Lidy Rutten, the certification took place with the members of the working groups. Attendees were robustly questioned and during the review, the past three years and incident figures were discussed. The large turnout at this meeting, almost everyone was present, also marks the success of our Safety Working Groups.
All entrepreneurs are represented as volunteers in the Safe Enterprise Quality Mark. 'Good consultation and optimal cooperation with the municipality and emergency services are essential in this.' In the magazine O.Venlo, you can read that Mayor Scholten is also enthusiastic about the cooperation with Ondernemend Venlo.
