Retrieved from 5 February 2019 is the 6th edition of the professional festival of Venlo Region On Stage: a Positive (vocational) Podium where professionals talk to VMBO school students about their profession and working day. School drop-out at MBO is often caused by young people making the wrong choice. With this initiative, the business community from Venlo and its surroundings contributes to a better professional image for about 1,100 VMBO students from Citaverde, Bouwens, Den Hulster, Blariacum, Valuas, De Velddijk and Wildveld. One does not need to be a recognised Apprenticeship Company to participate. All that is required is to share enthusiasm and knowledge about a profession with apprentices and host them on a one-off counter visit. Car mechanic to lawyer are welcome, because Dreaming is allowed at On Stage. Preparations have already started at the schools, including a study afternoon for teachers. Region Venlo On Stage has already started recruitment as over 250 professionals are needed. Companies such as KLG, Strabag, Seacon Logistics, Van der Valk, Tuincentrum Leurs and Ambulancezorg Limburg-Noord are participating again this year. Would you like to be there too?
