Be there with your application for an AanZET grant in time to qualify!
There will be another AanZET subsidy for the purchase of zero-emission trucks in 2024. You can probably apply for it from 30 January 2024. In previous years, interest was so high that the subsidy pot was empty after just one day. So prepare now to submit your application immediately. Trendsportal's logistics brokers will be happy to help.
With the AanZET scheme, you can apply for a subsidy from the state for the purchase or financial lease of an e-truck. For 2024, the Ministry of I&W is pushing for more entrepreneurs to be able to use the scheme than in previous years. Therefore, a company can still apply for a maximum of one electric truck subsidy per day. Each day will be assessed whether there is any subsidy budget left for the next day.
Less subsidy per truck
Furthermore, the subsidy amounts will be adjusted downwards. This is necessary because of state aid rules changed in Brussels, which apply to all EU member states. The subsidy difference between smaller and larger companies will remain. The maximum subsidy in 2024 will range from €6,100 for a light truck for a large company to €98,800 for a heavy truck or tractor for a small company.
Here's how to prepare in advance
If you are interested in the grant, prepare now. For instance, you need a non-final purchase or lease agreement. This means that the electric truck must not yet be in your company's name at the time of the subsidy application. You can include a clause to this effect in the provisional agreement, for example: 'order is final after allocation of AanZET'. Should your company not receive the subsidy, this clause allows you to cancel the agreement.
Furthermore, you need e-recognition to apply for the grant. E-recognition is a secure login tool used by over 500 different service providers, such as municipalities, tax authorities and insurers. More info on e-recognition and the various providers.
