The Ministry of SZW has introduced the subsidy scheme for employers 'Support employers deployment of status holders' created. This subsidy scheme aims to reduce language and cultural differences and offers employers a financial allowance for the additional guidance of status holders in the workplace.
Employing status holders contributes to reducing labour shortages. For the status holder, the work also contributes to their self-reliance. Proper integration into work helps status holders learn the Dutch language and culture faster. The best guidance is therefore on the shop floor. Employers can apply for the subsidy from 2 to 30 September 2024, via the Subsidy Portal.
