Xelect: The art of a perfect match starts with your organisation's DNA

'A CV only tells part of the story. The it is the person behind it that makes the difference'

Where the choice in recruitment agencies is huge, Xelect sets the tone with a unique approach. Not by simply supplying more CVs, but by setting a new standard in recruitment. The Venlo-based agency, born as a sister company to Vaes & Linthorst Management Matching, has one clear mission: we deliver growth. This they do by connecting companies with the right professionals, focusing on what really matters: an organisation's core values, culture and ambitions.

Recruitment, but different
Whereas Vaes & Linthorst Management Matching focuses on management and board positions, Xelect focuses on staff and middle management positions with salaries up to €70,000 per year. Xelect looks beyond hard requirements such as diplomas and experience. She focus on the complete picture: what drives the candidate, how does the team think, and how do they ensure a lasting match? "It DNA of an organisation is decisive," Timo Theelen explains. "It is not just a matter of finding who fits, but more importantly understanding why someone fits. As you understand that, you lay the foundation for a successful collaboration."

Monique Thommassen, HR Manager Leolux: "As an employer, I am extremely happy to work with Xelect. She understand Leolux's business needs in detail and make sure we find the right people, who fit perfectly into our team and culture. The allows us to get the best talents on board faster and more efficiently."

Xelect's team consists of Kay Dings, Timo Theelen and Lisette van den Bercken. All three have completed a college education and bring drive and ambition. Their knowledge is enhanced by expert guidance from Pascal Vaes and Evert Linthorst, who together bring over 40 years of recruitment experience. She know better than anyone how to make the perfect match, focusing on developing both candidates and companies and building long-term relationships.

'Our procedure is therefore proving to be a proven success; which is evident from our impressive completion rate of 93%'

Why cheap is often expensive
Many companies choose to handle their own recruitment and selection, often with the idea that this is cost-saving. But according to Xelect, this approach can actually be more expensive. "A wrong match not only costs time and money, but also trust in your process and your team," Kay Dings explains. This is why Xelect takes this worry completely out of your hands, from a comprehensive intake to a carefully guided onboarding process. "We do much more than just pass on CVs," says Dings. "Our focus is on long-term partnerships, not quick placements. Every step in the process counts." An important part of this approach is understanding a candidate's personality. Lisette van den Bercken can use personality tests to assess how someone handles stress, works together and fits within an organisation's culture. "Skills can be trained, but personality cannot," says van den Bercken. "That is why we always start by asking who the candidate really is. As that is right, we build on that. So we create matches that are permanently successful."

Together towards success
Theelen stresses the importance of teamwork throughout the process: "At Xelect, we find the candidate who is a perfect fit, but the company plays a crucial role in giving a warm welcome. A good onboarding is at least as important as recruitment itself. The is the moment when you show as an organisation that you are really ready for your new employee." Xelect provides support where needed in this regard. "We believe in a joint approach," Theelen continued. "We provide the match, but the company provides an environment in which the candidate feels at home and can grow. Together, we ensure a journey that not only starts with the right choice, but is ultimately sustainably successful." Because, as Dings adds, "A successful match is not a coincidence; it is a process in which both we and the company invest. Only by working together do we create a basis for long-term growth and satisfaction."

A partner who looks beyond
What makes Xelect different? The answer is simple: involvement-ness. The team at Xelect sees recruitment not as a transaction, but as a collaboration. At They value quality over quantity and this is reflected in everything they do. Dings aptly sums it up: "Recruitment is a profession. The requires knowledge, experience and the will to listen. A Forwarding a CV is something anyone can do, but achieving a perfect match? That is the trick. Success starts with the right people."

'Success starts with the right people'

For entrepreneurs in Venlo and the surrounding area, Xelect is the logical choice. Not because they have the most candidates, but because they find the right candidates. "Our mission statement is not for nothing: We deliver growth," he says.

Karin Zelissen, manager P&O Wonen Limburg: "We have been working with Xelect for over a year now. We are satisfied with the personal cooperation and effective recruitment. For us, it is important to have a partnership and long-term cooperation, so the quality of recruitment & selection grows over time. Xelect helps us attract the right talent in a personal way. In addition, we work together in a pleasant and effective way!"
