Weather operations
Maintenance works are weather sensitive. In bad weather, work may not be able to go ahead and will be rescheduled.

Regular maintenance
This maintenance work falls under the 2020 Large Variable Maintenance Contract that Rijkswaterstaat commissions. It concerns regular maintenance that roads, viaducts, bridges and tunnels require periodically, such as asphalting, replacing joint crossings and crash barrier maintenance. The aim is to ensure a smooth and safe flow for road users.

Roadworks: safety first
Every day, Rijkswaterstaat works to ensure smooth and safe traffic. To this end, road workers and our road inspectors work day and night. Safety comes first. As a road user, you too can contribute to the safety of road workers and yourself: follow the instructions and respect the speed limit.
