VENLO - The hospitality industry is getting hit after hit. Fortunately, the industry is flexible and creative. In many places, catering entrepreneurs are rolling up their sleeves in often slightly different ways than usual. Also the catering entrepreneurs united in FoodLab Limburg see opportunities. Together with Gilde Opleidingen and Vista College, they are going to train 90 practical trainers. Free of charge. Everything to keep new employees, trainees and students interested and committed.

Based on this need, FoodLab Limburg has developed a tailor-made training course for practical trainers in the hospitality industry. With this free training course for FoodLab Limburg partners, we put a stake in the proper guidance of new hospitality talent."
Now more time to attend training
90 practical trainers from the hospitality industry will receive training to give proper guidance to new employees, trainees and apprentices soon. The training is free of charge. It is a helping hand to the hospitality businesses. Now is a good time to train them. They generally have more time. The level of training and supervision in the hospitality industry can thus be taken to the next level. The emphasis during the training will be on recruitment and selection, coaching interviews, assessment and evaluation, proper learning planning and giving practical instructions to the starting employee.
All enjoying evening out
"FoodLab Limburg is a partnership between Gilde Opleidingen, VISTA College and Province of Limburg and was created to put Limburg back on the culinary and hospitable map. If we all want to enjoy a night out again soon, work will have to be done now. Well-trained staff will soon be absolutely necessary, which is what FoodLab Limburg wants to support. This training course is the first example of that," concludes Taco van der Bijl, project leader of FoodLab Limburg.
