VENLO - Healthiest Region 2025 Foundation and Entrepreneurial Venlo will pool resources and network in a partnership in 2021! Since 2015, the foundation has been working hard to make North Limburg healthier, with the goal of making North Limburg the healthiest region in Europe by 2025!
'It is quite clear that the theme of Health is 'hot' because there is a lot of attention on this topic,' says Caroline Kortooms, Health Maker and project leader of Foundation Healthiest Region 2025. 'A healthy economy is an important spearhead for our objective and that's where Entrepreneurial Venlo comes in.'
Partnership
Peter Thissen, chairman of Ondernemend Venlo explains: 'We represent the interests of all entrepreneurs based at one of the 20 business parks in the municipality of Venlo. With that, we represent 1256 companies with around 40,000 employees and play a central role in developing prosperity in the Healthiest Region.'
Caroline Kortooms says the following about the new cooperation: 'From January 2021, we are proud to call Ondernemend Venlo our partner. The Duurzame Bedrijventerreinen programme of Ondernemend Venlo, Rabobank, LWV and the Municipality of Venlo dovetails perfectly with the vision of Stichting Gezondste Regio 2025. Ondernemend Venlo believes in the power of a unified, distinctive branding to present our region inwardly (as a binding factor) but also outwardly to potential investors, stakeholders and future employees. If all relevant organisations and stakeholders rally behind Healthiest Region 2025 as the central vision for the future of our region, we can achieve much more power and thus reach than all individual initiatives added up. By sharing knowledge, network and resources, together we will create wonderful prospects!'
Call
'Ondernemend Venlo and 0-two appeal to all business associations and business parks to commit to a healthier North Limburg and to join the growing network of Health Makers!' Adds Hans Hendrikx, board member and secretary of Ondernemend Venlo. 'Together we can realise the most impact and who doesn't want a healthy living environment for North Limburg?'
